For those who care, my recent comment (in Buffy Summers & Beyond Good and Evil (5th post)) about the Farrah/Michael post (Farrah & Michael, Rest in Peace) was due to a very hateful communication I received from someone who seemed to have taken my comment about going to Hell literally.

On those rare occasions when people sincerely communicate what is troubling them, so long as it does not compromise some value I hold dear, I tend to try to take that into account and adjust; however, as my recent public expression of regret only served to trigger yet another diatribe, I would like to clarify that it was in no way intended to be interpreted as a retraction.

The only thing I said in the Farrah/Michael post that I truly regret is dishonoring the recently deceased with an unrelated comment about others need to "go to Hell."

Many, I’m sure — well, a few anyway — who (hopefully, for their own sake) are less full of vitriol than my secret "admirer" and who may have wished to argue my point, probably do not deserve eternal torment.

In any case, I hope to be back soon on a more positive note.
